World Quality Day

World Quality Day is observed annually on the second Thursday of November to highlight the significance of quality management in various sectors. In 2024, it was celebrated on November 14th, with the theme “Quality: From Compliance to Performance.” This theme emphasized the transition from merely adhering to standards to achieving exceptional organizational performance through robust quality practices.Looking ahead, World Quality Week 2025 is scheduled for November 10–14, culminating in World Quality Day on November 13th. The upcoming theme, “Quality: Think Differently,” encourages organizations to challenge traditional quality management approaches and embrace innovative thinking to foster success and sustainability.These observances provide an opportunity for organizations worldwide to reflect on their quality management practices, celebrate achievements, and inspire continuous improvement.

Transition Planning Guidance for ISO 9001:2015

Your current ISO 9001:2008 certificates will not be valid after three years from publication of ISO 9001:2015 i.e September 15, 2018.  ISO 9001:2008 Certified organizations recommended to take the following actions to upgrade your QMS certification to ISO 9001: 2015:- Identify organizational gaps which need to be addressed to meet new requirements. Develop an implementation plan. Provide appropriate training and awareness for all parties that have an impact on the effectiveness of the organization.
